If you are interested in taking New Beekeeper training, or if you are interested in just “brushing-up” on your beekeeping knowledge, we have an option to offer. 100% virtual, it will take place next weekend. ‘Beginner’ BEES School begins at 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 13, 2021, and runs until 5:15 p.m. (with breaks, of course).
You will log into Zoom and be greeted by Dr. Tarpy. Then, you will review three main, pre-recorded courses that are separated into 15 shorter lectures. Dr. Tarpy will appear live in between each lecture to go over any material that needs more explanation and to answer your questions.
The courses that are included in this training are,
  • Basic honey bee biology and life history
  • Introduction to Beekeeping and Hive Management
  • Importance of Bees and Beekeeping to Society

The registration fee for this all-day program is only $75.00.
