School Enrichment

School enrichment is a series of learning experiences for youth that align with and enhance a topic being learned in the classroom. The curriculum is designed by specialists who ensure it meets North Carolina learning standards assigned to the topic. School enrichment is appropriate for:
  • Public schools
  • Charter schools
  • Private schools
  • Homeschool groups or co-ops
Youth do not have to be 4-H members to participate in school enrichment activities.

How Does it Work?

Your county 4-H agent will provide the curriculum and training and in some cases the equipment to conduct the program. Educators then facilitate the program in their groups or classrooms with the support and guidance of the 4-H agent.
