Thank you for your interest in the Extension Master Gardener℠ Program of Transylvania County. We have a long history of community involvement and education. The Master Gardeners create, support, and enrich N.C. Cooperative Extension of Transylvania County's educational programs. We need good people who are familiar with using non-biased, research-based information to educate and empower the citizens of Transylvania County.
Master Gardener Trainees will attend classes every Tuesday from 1:00 to 4:00 PM from February 4th to April 22rd. Each trainee donates 40 hours in our approved community development programs throughout the 2025 calendar year. Absences are allowed but will need to be discussed with the program director. The cost of the class is $200, which pays for your textbook, state association fees, and two really nice Master Gardener shirts. Payment is due on the first day of class.
