Cooperative Extension Agents Bart Renner and Erin Massey will describe and demonstrate the innovative gardening and food preparation methods used by Thomas Jefferson during the Colonial Era. An educational and entertaining glimpse into foodways of the past.

The Transylvania County Library Local History Department is proud to partner with the Transylvania County Cooperative Extension Office for this Revolutionary era presentation as part of the celebration of America’s 250th anniversary.
