If you enjoy spending time outside during winter and wonder what kinds of trees you are seeing, we have just the program for you. Carrie Blair, Master Naturalist, and Extension Master Gardener℠ volunteer will lead a series of twelve hikes in Brevard area forests and greenspaces and lead one classroom session where she will discuss methods of identifying trees without their leaves. She will focus on the physical characteristics of trees including bark, form, branch pattern, buds, leaf scars, and seeds.
