Herbs are valuable for culinary, cosmetic, medicinal, and ornamental products, offering a world of possibilities to sell locally and regionally. They can be sold as live plants all season long, sold freshly cut for culinary use, made into herbal bouquets, and teas, used in fermentation, or dried and used in herbal crafts.
Join us for a multimedia lecture and a farm tour at a local successful farm in Buncombe County. The lecture is on Zoom and the Tour is at Rayburn Farms

Join Extension professionals and growers to learn more about commercially growing culinary herbs for market. The workshop is two days*.
Day 1 (8/8 at 3 pm) will be by Zoom and on Day 2 (8/9 at 3 p.m.) we will visit a successful herb grower's farm, (Rayburn Farms.
*It isn't necessary to attend both events. Registering will ensure you a spot on the farm tour as we are limiting that number. Once the registration is full for the event we will open to Zoom participants only. You can let us know your preference during the registration process. If you need a scholarship to attend just let us know by email.
